These terms cover using realdream.ca: browsing the site, submitting a form, and using tools like The Reveal and our cost calculators. They do not cover an actual renovation project. If we agree to build something for you, that work is governed by a separate written contract we sign together, not by this page.

This page applies to realdream.ca, the website of RealDream Contracting, a renovation contractor based in North Vancouver, BC. Questions about anything here can go to info@realdream.ca or (604) 401-4849.

This site describes our services, shows past projects, and gives general information about renovation costs, permits, and process on the North Shore. It is a marketing and information site, not a contract, a quote, or professional advice.

Cost figures shown in calculators, cost tables, and blog posts are estimates based on typical North Shore projects at the time of publication. Your actual cost depends on your home, your scope, and the trades and materials you choose. A number on this site is a starting point for a conversation, not a price we are bound to.

Content about permits, building codes, zoning, and rebate programs reflects our understanding at the time it was written. Municipal rules change. Confirm current requirements with the City or District of North Vancouver, the District of West Vancouver, or the relevant authority before relying on anything here.

When you submit a consultation, quote, or contact form, you are asking us to get in touch about your project. Submitting a form does not create a contract, reserve a start date, or commit either of us to anything. We will follow up, usually by phone or email, to discuss your project and, if it is a fit, provide a written quote separately.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. We rely on the details you give us (project scope, location, timeline) to prepare an initial response, so incomplete or inaccurate information can lead to an inaccurate first estimate.

The Reveal generates a rendered image of a room you upload, styled to a look you choose. It is a visualization tool for discussion purposes only. The generated image is not a design plan, a structural drawing, or a promise of what we would actually build. Walls, windows, and layout are meant to stay in place in the render, but the tool can still make mistakes, and any real design goes through its own separate process with a permit-ready drawing.

You must have the right to upload the photo you use. Do not upload a photo of a space you do not own or do not have permission to submit.

The text, photos, calculators, and design of this site belong to RealDream Contracting, unless a page says otherwise. You are welcome to read it, link to it, and share it. You may not copy substantial parts of the site's written content or design for another business's use without asking first.

Project photos on this site are real photos from real RealDream projects. If you would like to reuse one, contact us first.

We keep this site up and try to keep it accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly current. If you spot something wrong (a stale cost figure, a broken link, an outdated permit reference), we would genuinely like to know: email info@realdream.ca.

To the extent the law allows, RealDream Contracting is not responsible for losses that come from relying on general information on this site, from a tool like The Reveal or a cost calculator, or from a temporary outage of the site itself. This does not limit anything the law says we cannot limit, and it has no bearing on the terms of an actual signed construction contract, which stands on its own.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada. Any dispute about the use of this website is handled in the courts of British Columbia.

We may update this page as the site changes, the same way we keep the privacy policy current. The date at the top always shows the last update.
