RealDream Contracting was started by Nima Gerani, and he still runs it day to day. He is the person owners meet at the first site visit, he sets the scope with them, and he stays on the file until the last item on the deficiency list is signed off.

Nima lives and works on the North Shore, so the houses he renovates sit in his own community. That shapes how projects get scoped. Much of the housing stock in North Vancouver and West Vancouver was built between the 1960s and the 1980s, and it comes with known conditions: old electrical panels, galvanized plumbing, drainage problems on steep lots, foundations that predate current seismic rules. Expecting those things up front is what keeps them from becoming change orders later.

The habits clients notice most come straight from him. Owners hear about a change on the day it comes up rather than at the end of the week. Selections happen with a designer at the point in the schedule where they are actually needed, so trades are never left waiting on a decision. And once scope and drawings are locked, the price holds, because the number was built on a real assessment of the house instead of an optimistic guess.
